URDANG@bba logoThis exciting new partnership between Urdang Academy and Bronia Buchanan Associates Ltd, was formed in the autumn of 2010 and is proving to be a great success. All Urdang students on the Diploma and Degree courses are represented exclusively from 1st September to the 31st of July of their graduating year and then for a further year as a choice on a nonexclusive basis.

Urdang strongly believes in guiding their students in their final months of training, whilst maximizing job potential and preparing students for the audition process. With this invaluable knowledge and insight, students have the opportunity to be exposed to many of London’s top casting agents and auditions in musical theatre, West End and touring, acting and film, cruises, dance as well as commercial dance. This vast range of exposure to the third years is a unique opportunity because of Urdang’s partnership with a leading London theatre agency.

Bronia Buchanan Associates Ltd, based in the


heart of the West End, specialises in the professional, personal representation of actors, dancers and creatives within the theatre, television and film industry. Clients are currently employed in Television, Commercials, Film, Musicals, West End, and UK Regional & European Theatre. Urdang@bba is co-ordinated by Alex Gottschall.

Urdang@bba has a very competitive commission rate of 12%. Commission is payable by each student for every contract undertaken during their period of representation with the agency. 2% of the total commission earned by the agency will invested back into the Urdang Academy by Bronia Buchanan contributing to the funding of future training and facilities at the college.

This joint venture is an invaluable part of student training; it offers experience of the industry whilst in training and has increased the number of students securing elite professional contracts upon graduation.
