Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA)

The Urdang Academy is one of the leading Dance and Drama training providers in the country and as such are a part of the Government’s Dance and Drama Award scheme. The Academy is allocated a specific number of awards for students each year.

The Dance and Drama Awards are scholarships funded by the LSC (Learning and Skills Council). They offer significantly reduced tuition fees and could help with living and learning costs. Students must be EU nationals to be eligible for a Dance and Drama Award.

All candidates selected for entry and enrolled in the Academy are invited to audition for a Dance and Drama Award. This audition is usually held in late Spring.

Full information on the awards can be found in the Fees Guidance booklet which accompanies the prospectus.

Urdang Fee Reduction Awards

For students who are unsuccessful in gaining a Dance and Drama Award, Urdang operates a fee reduction scheme for worthy students. Reduction of fees is based on parental means-tested calculation.
