Urdang introduced the degree programme in 2008 in response
to the interests and needs of our students. It aims to give the student the
opportunity to train to the highest standards for a professional career in
dance and musical theatre. The added value of a degree course enables the
student to gain a solid contextual knowledge and academic skills that will underpin practical training.
This is a full time, tightly structured programme delivered
over 3 years. The course
is modular with subjects taught in the four areas of Acting,
Dance, Singing and Academic Studies.
The degree programme provides: Subject-based Practical Skills, Knowledge
